My father was my first art buyer. There at a gas station in New Orleans he walked out from the ATM with 2 of the freshest hundred dollar bills. My was a canvas no more than 4 inches. I was 17 - in that moment we were NOT in a gas station but a fancy art gallery in the French Quarters and I had on my “Sunday Best” walking through walls and walls of my own art.

My daddy made me feel like that!!! It’s why my own home is where it hangs proudly right behind me on a wall all by itself. I love you in paint and in life Daddy !!!! Thank you for always making me feel priceless! - Your First Born !!!
